The Hi-Mount Stinger’s low-profile design adds protection without obstructing your [click for more...] line of sight. Made of strong 3/16" hot rolled steel and 1 3/4” steel tubing and works in conjunction with the MetalCloak Hi-Mount Shackle Kit. The stinger protects the winch from damage when out on the trail while providing no loss in approach angle like typical bulky front bumpers. The stinger comes with welded on shackle mount recovery points for when you or others are stuck on the trail.

The stinger bolts directly to the MetalCloak frame-built front bumper system for a quick and easy installation. All hardware is included to secure the hi-mount stinger into place. The stinger comes in MetalCloak’s signature black powder coat to protect it against corrosion and rust while being abused out on the trail.

The stinger is modular part for your MetalCloak Bumper; add accessories like a winch hook, license plate adapter, or fairlead. If you want to customize the look of your front bumper, check out this stinger or any of our other bumper options to change to a fresh configuration for your Jeep.

Note: All TJ/LJ/YJ Hoops come with weld on shackles.

Note: Shackle mounts are engineered to be used as recovery points only; the shackle mounts are NOT designed for flat-towing.
