JL/JT RockSport RED Axle Disconnect Skid Plate Upgrade Kit

Replace the weak factory skid cover on the center axle disconnect for your Jeep JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator Truck and upgrade from the small factory steering damper with a Specifically Tuned RockSport RED Steering Stabilizer; the stabilizer mounts relocate the damper up and out of harms way.

A 3/16" Skid Plate adds needed protection for the center axle disconnect while the [click for more...] stabilizer relocation bracket mount the upgraded RockSport Steering stabilizer up to a safer location. This is a complete kit that bolts into factory locations providing more protection and additional performance for your Jeep.

The optional billet mount is a two piece aluminum design, is simple to install, and allows you to position the stabilizer for maximum performance. Finished in anodized black with a laser engraved "M" around the recessed bolt holes for a clean and custom look.

Note: Minimum 2" lift required.

Note: The RockSport steering stabilizer kit works with Left Hand Drive applications only.

Note: Raised steering stabilizer requires at least 2” of bump stop to clear frame.

Note: Billet steering stabilizer does NOT work with factory tie rod.

Note: If purchasing the billet tie rod mount MetalCloak highly recommends using anti-seize on all bolts.
