CNC Machined billet aluminum replacement hinges were added for even more strength and rigidity to the tire carrier for a more secure and rattle free installation. The billet hinges are finished in a hard anodized black finish for a clean factory look.
The SportGate Tire Mount is an adjustable bracket that allows for custom wheel backspacing; choose the narrower (3.75” – 5.25”) or the wider (4.75” – 6.45”) tire mount to secure your spare tire to the SportGate Tire Carrier. The mount is made of strong CAD designed and laser cut 3/16” hot rolled steel, providing a multitude of stud configurations for the most common bolt patterns.
The SportGate Tire Carrier and Tire Mount are finished in MetalCloak’s signature black textured powder coat for a long-lasting finish.
Note: MetalCloak recommends not installing a tire & wheel combo weighing more than 150lbs on to the SportGate Tire Carrier.
